Welcome to Hiizzy! This guide will help you through the process of listing your property effectively.
1. Setting Up Your Account
To list a property on Hiizzy, you first need to create an account:
- Enter your email address and choose a password that meets the security requirements.
- You will receive a two-factor authentication (2FA) code via email. Enter this code to access your dashboard.
2. Creating a Property Listing
Once logged into your dashboard, follow these steps to create a property listing:
1. Click on "Create Property Listing."
2. Enter your postcode and click the Search button. This will return your address.
3. Enter your house number or name, and then click Confirm and Proceed.
3. Setting the Asking Price
1. On the next screen, you'll encounter the Asking Price section.
2. Here, you will receive valuation data based on 30 million data points, including HM Land Registry sold data and Street Data.
3. Choose your price based on the lower valuation, higher valuation, and midpoint valuation presented.
4. Check the two boxes confirming that you have selected this price and have read the terms and conditions.
5. Choose whether this is a Guide Price or Offers in Excess Of, and then click Confirm and Proceed.
4. EPC Certificate
1. The next screen will ask you for your Energy Performance Certificate (EPC).
2. If data exists, an EPC will be returned to you. Check its accuracy by clicking the blue link to the government website.
3. Confirm the accuracy by checking the provided box.
4. If no EPC is returned, you need to order one by contacting an energy performance surveyor. Detailed guidance is available in the Knowledge Hub, and you can continue with your listing by selecting that an EPC is ordered or by checking the exempt box if not required.
5. Uploading Photos and Floor Plan
1. Upload your photographs and floor plan.
- Photos should be taken in landscape mode, and can be dragged and dropped into your listing or uploaded from your PC.
- You can arrange the photos in your preferred order, with the first photo being the main image for your listing.
- Edit each photograph by clicking the edit button, or delete it by clicking the cross icon.
- Upload as many photos as you wish.
2. Add a media link for any related TikTok or Instagram reels.
3. If you do not have a floor plan, you can create one for free with the Magic Plan app. Reference the guide in the Knowledge Hub for details.
6. Highlighting Local Amenities
1. The next screen will populate information about local amenities via Google Maps.
2. You can delete any items you don’t want to include or add more to inform buyers of nearby shops, transport, schools, and parks.
3. Click Confirm and Proceed when done.
7. Sharing What You Love
1. In this section, share what you love most about living in your home.
2. Provide clear, simple sentences about features such as your sunny garden, quiet neighborhood, or cozy fireplace.
3. You can add or delete items as needed before clicking Confirm and Proceed.
8. Generating Property Description
1. The Property Description will be generated using Hiizzy's AI.
2. Click the Generate button to create the description.
3. Review, edit, or write the description as you see fit. You must check the accuracy box before proceeding.
9. Previewing and Publishing Your Listing
1. After confirming all details, you can Preview your listing.
2. If you don't check out, your listing will automatically save as a draft.
3. If satisfied, press Checkout to publish your listing live.
4. Complete the Calendar Booking section, confirming your availability for viewings.
10. Managing Your Listings
1. Once your property is listed, you will receive a confirmation email from Hiizzy.
2. When someone requests a viewing, you will receive an email notification.
3. Confirm the appointment by viewing it in your dashboard. You can also send a message to the prospective buyer via the Messages section.
11. Accessing Draft Listings
If you exit during the listing process, your work will be saved as a draft:
- Go to your dashboard, and under My Listings, click on Draft Listings to resume your work.
- To finalize your listing, complete the process and click Checkout again.
